望月怀远

Tiangeng Zeng

Sea rising moon,天涯 shared time.

Opposite heart, long night sleeps in.

Lust begins with "several stars," the sky grows dark; to find oneself alone.

Might is shown in "dawned" star; but no matter how bright

the stars may appear, the soul of man will never be seen.

Crowning heights are not enough to shield one's heart from this great discovery.

Sun, bright, casting a wide light, though it does not shine so much as the stars, is still one of the most perfect objects in the world.

It gives men an idea of the vastness and depth of the universe; yet it also has its flaws. To some it seems to be insignificant; to others, if they do not read into it, they will not know why such a thing as a star is so grand.

Sky's beauty is rare in this world. We see it every day, but we never understand where it comes from. It is an eternal truth that the universe is without beginning and without end.

So far as I can find, these are the most beautiful and true reflections of the world around us.

First sentence: Sea rising moon is strong evidence of a vast and壮美 sky above.

Second sentence: The sky is like the heavens; it is empty but full with starry light.

Lust for those who have seen them long ago, though they may not be aware of their nature.

Because of that lusting for something so distant and far-off

it seems to me that we can never understand what it is. Yet people still say it's beautiful because they see it; others may just think it's insignificant, no more no less.

Tiangeng Zeng is a man who has written some of the best works for the world he knows. His works are filled with deep thoughts and profound feelings.

His poems reflect his innermost struggles and hopes for the future.

Because he sees so clearly, I am not trying to say what he says; but I want to say that people have their own ways of looking at this world and their own lusting for those things they can't see.

But we know that the more we look at nature, the more we understand it.
